About-Dax & Alice Get Down

So bebe, we need to tell our visitors about us, what do you want to say? I was thinking we could write some super cool sounding bio in the third person, like someone else wrote it. Something like we are internationally ‘this and that’ and hail from opposite sides of the world… uniting to do something ‘super duper’… and have titles from all these big sounding competitions…etc.? What do you think?
Well, I don’t want it to sound stuffy, I just want it to be fun and not so serious. Besides, I don’t think that people really care about our titles or anything like that.
You mean people don’t care about how we won the world lindy hop championships where only 3 couples competed all from the same country? LOL Actually, I totally agree, but we need to sort of be serious somewhere, this is after all going to be our website, our world wide presence.
I think we should just kinda tell them who we are and what we like and what makes us unique. We should just write like we’re talking to them and keep it simple and fun like us— I mean like me !
hhehehehe Ok Ms. Fun, What do you think makes us unique? Even better, who are we? You’re a little french poodle, that’s unique :P
I think that we are unique because of the way we teach, but we are really different so it makes a funny combination.

You’re tall and blond and american and I am just a little french poodle.
You are pretty serious about dancing and can talk about it for hours where i am just like a little kid who can’t stand still for very long.
You socialize around a beer or two and I do it mainly on the dance floor.
We both love dancing and most important we enjoy dancing with each other.
You brought the vernacular jazz and tap dancing experience to my ballet and contemporary dancing background.
You love to teach and i love to perform.I have the sexiness and you have the rhythm.
Our partnership is like a little party…you bring the hot dog and i bring the bun!

Well, I think we are a dynamic little duo; a mixture of sweet and spice that brings to the table a wide variety of goodies for the dance community. No, but seriously, I agree that our strength’s lie in our individual differences. You can really soften up my personality in dance classes making them more enjoyable for students. Overall, I just love to teach with you. It is easy, flows and the environment is great. Plus, I believe that the way we teach and the principles we emphasize are really helping our students. It is awesome that we can improvise in the class and instantly tailor material to the students needs. You also follow so well; it keeps my lead in check and now that our connection has become so pure I feel like we can ours’ and our students dancing to the next level.
Yeah, it’s so relaxing to teach with you. I really like it, vraiment. And I love to see our students getting better, and getting more excited about dancing.
But more then in the classroom, I think you are a social dancing superstar! I think that is why you won the Dancers Choice Award at ULHS. When they announced your name, I was like, OH SNAP! “No one can resist the Alice-Fun-Bubble”!”.
The boy’s just love T&A.
True, but T&A, plus badass dancing, that is how you rule the world bebe.
You also have your own way to rule the world by dancing so well with any girl. You always adjust your dancing to match their level and no matter what is going on you always make them look so great. I’d say it makes me a little jealous sometimes. You dance “with” girls instead of using them like a tool. That is really cool I think.
Maybe that is why they call it “partner dancing”?
Shut up, you know what I mean.
Totally. You know, even if we make a fun little blurb for our about page, we still need to have a promo bio for organizers to use for their promotional material.
High Five!
